A Cypriot species, found nowhere else. It is one of
the three species I've put on the website that isn't covered by Tolman
(1997). It resembles the western European species of Glaucopsyche,
particularly alexis. It lacks the extensive underside basal flush of
colour of that species. Additionally the underside is roughened with lighter
grey scaling giving it a rather mottled appearance.
It is found across Cyprus at all levels and it is fairly common where
found.
